How Can We Help?

No Results Found

How soon can I start my medical tutoring sessions after enrolling, and does this vary by subject area or tutor availability?

In most cases, you can begin within a few days of registering. Some highly specialised topics may require additional scheduling time to match you with the right tutor.

Do you provide study resources such as anatomy diagrams, practice patient cases, or pharmacology flashcards?

Yes. Many tutors provide supplementary materials, which may include high-resolution anatomical images, mock clinical scenarios, and downloadable revision aids.

Can I set up recurring weekly or fortnightly medical tutoring sessions to keep a consistent study routine?

Yes. Regular bookings help maintain momentum, and we can secure the same time slot for you each week or fortnight.

Are medical tutoring sessions recorded for later review, and how long are these recordings stored?

Where permitted, sessions can be recorded and stored securely for 30 days, allowing you to revisit key concepts.

How will I know if I am making progress in my medical studies through your tutoring program?

We provide structured progress reports, feedback after sessions, and recommendations for further improvement.

Do you tutor students at all stages of medical education, from early years to postgraduate training?

Yes. We work with pre-medical students, medical school undergraduates, and qualified doctors undertaking specialist exams.

What if I feel the tutor’s teaching style isn’t working for me?

You can request a change of tutor at any time without any additional fees.

What qualifications and experience do your medical tutors have?

All tutors hold relevant medical degrees and many have additional postgraduate qualifications. Several are practising clinicians or lecturers at medical schools.

Can you assist with preparation for specific medical licensing or postgraduate exams such as the MRCP, PLAB, or USMLE, and how do you tailor this support?

Absolutely. We create targeted revision plans, run timed mock exams, and provide focused feedback on your answers. Support is adapted to your chosen exam’s format and marking criteria.

Will I be given homework or practical tasks between medical tutoring sessions?

Yes. Tutors often provide reading assignments, quiz-based revision, or case study write-ups to reinforce what you have learned.

How do I pay for sessions, and are there discounts for booking multiple medical tutoring hours in advance?

Payments can be made securely via our website using credit or debit cards. We also offer discounted packages when you book blocks of 5, 10, or 20 sessions in advance.

Do you offer any free introductory consultations for medical tutoring?

Yes, we provide a free 20-minute introductory call so you can meet the tutor, explain your goals, and ensure it’s a good fit before committing to paid sessions.

What technical equipment do I need for online medical tutoring, especially for interactive anatomy or imaging sessions?

You will need a stable internet connection, a computer or tablet with a webcam and microphone, and headphones for clear audio. For certain topics, such as anatomy or radiology, you may also benefit from having a large screen or dual monitor setup to view high-resolution images alongside tutor notes.

What is your cancellation policy for medical tutoring sessions, and are there fees for late cancellations?

We require at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations. Sessions cancelled after this period may be charged in full, as tutors reserve the time specifically for you.

Can I choose my medical tutor based on their area of specialisation or professional background?

Yes. Each tutor’s profile lists their academic qualifications, clinical experience, and teaching focus. You can select a tutor who aligns best with your learning needs, whether that’s basic sciences, clinical practice, or specific medical exams.

Do you offer small group medical tutoring, for example, for students preparing for OSCEs or clinical case discussions?

Yes. We run structured group sessions for specific purposes, such as Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) preparation, group case study analysis, and peer-to-peer learning workshops. Group sizes are kept to a maximum of six participants to ensure everyone can engage fully.

How long is each medical tutoring session, and can these be adjusted for intensive preparation?

Standard sessions are 60 minutes long. However, for intensive revision or exam bootcamps, we offer extended sessions lasting 90 minutes or more, which can be scheduled on consecutive days.

Are sessions delivered online, in person, or in a hybrid format, and how do I decide which is most suitable for me given my location, schedule, and learning style?

We primarily deliver sessions online through a secure virtual classroom, allowing students to connect with tutors regardless of location. However, for some specialised training—such as physical examination techniques or procedural skills—we may arrange in-person sessions at approved locations. Hybrid arrangements can be made for those who wish to combine theory online and practical components in person.

How do I arrange my first session if I’m completely new to medical tutoring and don’t know which area to focus on?

If you’re unsure where to start, you can book an initial assessment session with one of our experienced tutors. During this meeting, they will review your current level of knowledge, discuss your academic or professional goals, and help you create a personalised study plan.

What areas of medicine do you offer tutoring in?

We cover a range of medical education areas, including anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, pathology, clinical skills, and preparation for medical school entrance exams. We also offer tutoring for post-graduate examinations such as MRCP and USMLE.
