    • Professional & Qualification Data: Details of your medical qualifications, professional background information voluntarily provided for educational context only, and any other professional background information you provide (e.g., for verifying eligibility for our services or tailoring content).

    • Financial & Payment Information: Billing address, payment card details (processed by third-party payment processors – we do not store full payment card numbers on our servers), and other financial data related to your transactions with us.

    • Communication Data: Records of your correspondence with us, including emails and messages sent through the Service.

Recordings are not shared with third parties and are not used for marketing purposes.

  • Information Collected Automatically (via Wix and Cookies):

    • Our website is hosted on the Wix.com studio platform. Wix.com collects certain data automatically to operate, secure, and improve its services, which in turn benefits our Service.

    • Usage Data: Information about how you interact with our website, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, pages viewed, time spent on pages, referral source, and clickstream data. This is primarily collected via Wix's inbuilt analytics tools.

    • Device Information: Information about the device you use to access our Service, including device model, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.

    • Cookies and Tracking Technologies: We, and Wix, use cookies and similar tracking technologies (like web beacons and pixels) to track activity on our Service and hold certain information.

      • Cookies: Small data files placed on your device. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of our Service.

Non-essential cookies, including analytics and performance cookies, will only be placed on your device where you have provided consent through our cookie consent mechanism.

  • Purpose of Cookies: Essential for the functioning of the website (e.g., managing user sessions, login), for analytics (understanding website traffic and user behavior via Wix analytics), and for remembering user preferences.

  • Wix's Collection: Be aware that Wix's platform itself uses various cookies for its own operational purposes. For detailed information on Wix's data collection and cookie practices, please refer to the Wix Privacy Policy.

  • Information from Third Parties (via Wix Platform):

    • As you use our Service, some data may be accessed or shared through the broader Wix platform with their integrated third-party services (e.g., payment processors, CRM tools, etc.). This is generally to support the functionality of the Wix platform and, by extension, our Service. We do not directly seek or purchase third-party data about you.

3. Legal Basis for Processing (for UK/EU Users)

For users in the UK and European Economic Area (EEA), we process your personal data based on the following legal grounds under the UK GDPR:

  • Performance of a Contract: We process your personal data when it is necessary for the performance of a contract with you or to take steps at your request before entering into such a contract (e.g., to provide tutoring services you've signed up for, to manage your account and payments).

This includes the processing of session attendance data and recorded tutoring sessions where recording is a stated part of the service provided.

  • Legitimate Interests: We may process your data where it is necessary for our legitimate interests (or those of a third party) and your interests and fundamental rights do not override those interests. This includes for purposes such as improving our Service, ensuring security, and for internal analytical purposes.

Our legitimate interests include maintaining teaching quality, ensuring consistency of delivery, and providing users with access to learning materials following live sessions.

  • Compliance with a Legal Obligation: We may process your personal data where it is necessary for compliance with a legal or regulatory obligation to which we are subject (e.g., tax laws, professional body requirements, fraud prevention).

  • Consent: Where required by law, we will obtain your explicit consent to process your personal data for specific purposes, such as sending you marketing communications or for certain types of cookies. You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.

    • Payment Processors: Such as [mention specific names if you use them, e.g., Stripe, PayPal], who securely handle your payment transactions. We do not store your full credit card details.

    • Zoom: For facilitating online tutoring sessions. Zoom processes personal data in accordance with its own privacy policy and may act as a data processor or independent controller depending on the nature of the processing.

    • Analytics Providers: Such as Wix's inbuilt analytics tools, which help us understand user behavior on our website.

    • Email Communication Services: For sending service-related or marketing emails (if consented).

    • These service providers have access to your personal information only to perform these tasks on our behalf and are contractually obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.

  • Professional Tutors: Your name and specific medical qualifications (if relevant for the tutoring context) will be shared with the qualified doctors providing your tutoring to enable them to deliver effective and appropriate education.

Tutors are provided only with the personal information necessary to deliver the tutoring service effectively and are contractually required to process such data confidentially.

  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, acquisition, financing, due diligence, reorganization, bankruptcy, receivership, sale of company assets, or transition of service to another provider, your information may be sold or transferred as part of such a transaction as permitted by law and/or contract.

  • With Your Consent: We may disclose your personal information for any other purpose with your explicit consent.

  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to (i) comply with a legal obligation (e.g., a court order or subpoena), (ii) protect and defend our rights or property, (iii) prevent or investigate possible wrongdoing in connection with the Service, (iv) protect the personal safety of users of the Service or the public, or (v) detect, prevent, or otherwise address fraud, security, or technical issues.

Wix Platform's Broader Sharing: Be aware that Wix, as a platform provider, may have its own policies for sharing aggregated or anonymized data for platform improvement and other purposes as outlined in their own privacy policy.

5. Data Security

We have implemented reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to secure your personal information from accidental loss, unauthorized access, use, alteration, and disclosure. These measures include [e.g., data encryption, access controls, secure servers]. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. Access to session recordings is restricted to authorised users and protected by account-based access controls.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. This typically means retaining data for the duration of your active engagement with our Service and for a reasonable period thereafter to comply with legal obligations (e.g., financial records, professional regulatory requirements for a certain period). To determine the appropriate retention period, we consider the nature and sensitivity of the data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure, the purposes for which we process it, and applicable legal requirements.
